Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support the EPA ESSET contract in a fully remote role. You will partner with program leadership and finance teams to deliver financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and FP&A for a large government program.

You will handle day-to-day operations, burn rate analysis, subcontractor funding, and ad-hoc analyses while coordinating with accounting, contracts, and procurement to ensure program success and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CAS, FAR and GAAP and government contracting experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day program operations through project workforcing, review and approval of non-labor invoices, and other program control functions.
• Develop burn rate reporting across program cost centers, funding pools, and contract line items.
• Support subcontractor management by tracking funding, expenditures and vouchers and funding requests.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for program and leadership.
• Assist Finance Manager with contract deliverables, invoicing, forecasting and FP&A activities.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and back-office departments to enable operations.
