Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to support the Health and Civilian sector, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A. The role focuses on driving financial performance, developing forecasts, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting for government contracts.

Responsibilities include P&L analysis, rolling forecasts, and close activities, with collaboration across finance, contracts, and program teams. A strong Excel skillset and DoD contracting knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in government contracting environment.
• Strong financial planning & analysis cadence experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and modeling.
• Ability to convey complex financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Division VP and program teams to improve financial performance.
• Prepare program P&L, trend and variance analyses and monthly reports.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budget processes.
• Support PMO with contract deliverables, subcontractor management, and invoicing.
• Assist with pricing exercises (ROMS, Option Years) and funding tracking.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and back-office teams.
