GovCIO is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our National Security Sector. This fully remote role within the United States may require occasional visits to the Fairfax, VA office. You will assist in financial reporting, forecasts, and program analysis to drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's with 2–5 years in Finance, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with government contracting concepts. DoW clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years in finance or related field.
• Foundational understanding of CAS, FAR, and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Type) is helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timely financial reporting deliverables and variance analysis.
• Support senior analyst in managing large programs and forecasts.
• Analyze key program drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare data for program reviews and month-end close.
• Monitor subcontracting spending and assist with voucher approvals.
• Collaborate with accounting, contracts, procurement, and back-office teams.
