Job summary

ATS Institute of Technology is seeking an experienced Financial Aid Advisor to help students understand their funding options and complete the financial aid process. In this fully remote role, you will support students through phone calls, email, and virtual appointments, managing an assigned caseload and ensuring timely progress of files.

You will advise on FAFSA, estimates, and payment plans while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advise Students: Explain financial aid options, FAFSA requirements, grants, scholarships, and student loans.
• Prepare Financial Estimates: Help students understand available funding, out-of-pocket costs, and payment plans.
• Follow Through: Contact students regularly to collect documents, resolve outstanding requirements, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Review financial aid information and keep student files complete, organized, and confidential.
• Support Compliance: Apply financial aid regulations and institutional policies in daily advising and documentation.
• Coordinate Across Teams: Partner with admissions and student services to address student needs and support enrollment.
• Support Campus Activities: Present financial aid information at orientations and participate in school events.
