Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote internship in the Corporate Finance/People & Culture Workforce Development group. You will build automated Excel processes, review charge discrepancies, and assist in financial analysis for Advocate Health and affiliates.

You will extract and manipulate data for trends, help develop cost accounting standards and budget proformas, and support various revenue cycle and reporting tasks during the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5 and in good academic standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated Excel processes to minimize manual work.
• Review discrepancies in charges and implement necessary changes.
• Prepare financial analyses and assist in data extraction for trend analysis.
• Participate in cost accounting and budgeting support activities.
• Support revenue cycle projects and reporting tasks.
