Job summary

Really Great Reading is seeking a Finance and Operations Analyst to join a remote team focused on linking operational data with financial outcomes. You will collaborate across departments to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, translating insights into actionable resource decisions.

This role emphasizes process improvement, data integrity, and cross-functional partnerships for scalable impact.

Qualifications

5+ years in business analysis, operations analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related roles.
Ability to connect operational questions to financial or resource decisions.
Strong financial analysis foundation, including forecasting and modeling.
Experience in root-cause analysis and recommending improvements.
Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
Experience with ERP or data from multiple sources; telemetry to dashboards.

Responsibilities

Define business questions; identify data; develop actionable insights.
Analyze workload, staffing, costs, and process performance for planning.
Investigate root causes and evaluate staffing, processes, or systems changes.
Combine financial and operational data to compare options and recommend actions.
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor financial and operational performance.
