Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to support the Health and Civilian sectors. Reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A, you will drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to improve performance for government programs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with government contracting. This remote US-based position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Government contracting exposure; familiarity with CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Experience building financial planning and analysis cadences.
• Strong Excel, modeling, and pivot table skills.
• Ability to distill complex data for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP and program teams to guide financial performance improvements.
• Produce timely program P&L, trend, and variance analyses for leadership and customers.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budget processes.
• Support PMO with advanced FP&A, contract deliverables, and invoicing.
• Assist with ROMs, new option years, and repricing exercises.
• Monitor subcontractor spend and funding; drive actions to stay within budget.
• Recommend process improvements and corrective actions to hit goals.
• Oversee month-end close: accruals, revenue recognition, expense reviews.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, and Procurement teams.
