Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to support the Health and Civilian sector. The role reports to the Sr Manager of FP&A and requires building strong relationships with customer stakeholders, program managers, and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive finance acumen, experience in government contracting, and the ability to drive financial performance across programs while coordinating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in finance or related field.
• Government contracting experience; knowledge of CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, complex formulas and modeling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex financial information for stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems analytically.
• Ability to interpret, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Balancing priorities across internal corporate and external programmatic functions while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reporting and deliverables for the USCG effort.
• Coordinate with customer, program personnel, and leadership on financial performance.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budget processes.
• Support PMO with advanced financial planning and invoicing.
• Assist with pricing exercises such as ROMs and Option Years.
• Track subcontractor spending and funding; ensure corrective actions.
• Recommend process improvements; close-out month-end costs and revenue.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other back-office teams.
