Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the National Security Sector. The position is fully remote within the United States with an office in Fairfax, VA, requiring occasional visits. The role focuses on financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting for a large program.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's with 2-5 years in Finance, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of government contracting concepts (CAS, FAR, GAAP). Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, Cognos is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent.
• 2-5 years in Finance roles (Program Finance, Project Control or FP&A).
• Foundational understanding of Government contracting concepts (CAS, FAR, GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables and analyze program trends.
• Assist in quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for large programs.
• Provide analysis of key program drivers, risks, and opportunities.
