Job summary

SinWaves, Inc., dba LYT is seeking a Controller to oversee our Finance and Accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting while coordinating with our external accounting partner. This execution-oriented leader will drive data-driven decision support to the leadership team, supporting resource allocation and scalable growth.

The role ensures compliance, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, and implements robust cash management and forecasting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Ability to succinctly summarize and communicate complex financial data and analyses to convey the broader strategic picture.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or other related field
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and interpreting financial statements prepared by an external accounting firm and identifying significant variances, anomalies, or areas requiring further investigation.
• Ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations (taxes, compliance, etc.)
• Providing data and analysis for sound decision making
• Monitoring and adjusting forecasts
• Tracking business performance
• Conducting cost/benefit analyses
• Monitoring cash balances and cash flow and coordinating routine cash management activities.
• Communicating to internal and external stakeholders as required
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for external accounting, tax, banking, and other financial service providers; monitor deliverables, timelines, and quality of work.
• Providing information to support key internal processes like pricing, RFP responses, sales tax, budget development and tracking, M&A support, etc.
• Other duties as required
