Job summary

TheHiveCareers is seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to lead finance and administrative operations across Latin America in a remote, multi-country environment. You will oversee accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance while driving internal controls and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, with managerial experience, strong knowledge of accounting standards, and proficiency in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years in finance and accounting with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, controls, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Latin American regulations and multi-entity environments.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end/year-end close.
• Ensure compliance with local financial, tax, and statutory regulations across assigned Latin American jurisdictions.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes to support business planning and decision-making.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to ensure governance and risk mitigation.
• Manage and optimize the use of accounting systems, ERP tools, and financial reporting platforms.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Oversee administrative operations, including vendor management, contracts, documentation, and operational support functions.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight to accounting and administrative team members.
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
