Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an Application Development Manager for the Flexibles Division. This remote role serves as the main technical contact between customers and TOPPAN, guiding development and technical service for assigned accounts and markets, driving cost-effective, safe, and sustainable packaging solutions.

You will collaborate with Commercial Team to commercialize opportunities, lead pilot and production trials, translate customer requirements to specifications, and ensure

Qualifications

• Strong material science knowledge (OPP, PET, PE films, Nylon, paper, and foil laminations).
• 5–10 years of Flexible Packaging Product Development and manufacturing processes (printing, laminating, coating, slitting, pouching, form/fill/seal).
• 5–10 years of development of packaging for retort, hot fill, hard-to-hold, liquid applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities to expand sales of existing structures and develop new flexible packaging structures.
• Coordinate projects and communicate customer requirements to TOPPAN specifications.
