Job summary

Celanese Engineered Materials is seeking a Field Technical Service engineer with strong polymer processing experience to join the Americas FTS organization. This remote role supports customers across multiple states and requires up to 80% travel.

You will design experiments, analyze polymer processing variables, and interface with product teams for new developments while building strong customer partnerships across OEMs and tier suppliers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of polymer processing experience.
• Hands-on experience operating injection molding equipment.
• Experience with other processing methods is a plus.
• Proficiency with tool/part design and CAE/process simulation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solve customer polymer processing issues using fundamental polymer knowledge and processing skills.
• Independently design experiments to study polymer processing variables.
• Document results and processing parameters in standardized forms.
