Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of polymer processing experience required; BS in related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating injection molding equipment; other processing methods a plus.
• Expertise in polymer materials and plastics processing; experience supporting OEMs or tiers is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD or process-simulation tools is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% to customer or Celanese sites.

Aufgaben

• Solve customer polymer processing issues using fundamental polymer knowledge and processing skills.
• Independently design experiments to study effects of processing variables on materials and customer products.
• Document key results and processing parameters in standardized forms and repository.
• Understand polymer analytical testing and connect results to processing, chemistry, and observations.
• Interface with product teams to support new product development.
• Collaborate with commercial team to keep customers updated on status and concerns.
• Develop processing recommendations for new and existing products for customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers to position Celanese as partner of choice.
