Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a hands-on technician to assemble, test, and service equipment from a remote location with occasional on-site visits to customer facilities. You will install new equipment, ensure full functionality, and provide on-site technical assistance as needed.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, strong report writing, and solid math and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to meet physical demands and work within safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two-year college or technical school associate degree or equivalent.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures (discounts, interest, commissions, etc.).
• Ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test equipment.
• Install new equipment at customer’s facility and ensure full functionality.
• Provide on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Submit service reports for customer invoicing.
• Review customer performance reports and inspect malfunctioning equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problem.
• Package and ship customer orders.
• Assemble customer orders.
