Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Representative for the Midwest/Great Lakes region.

This US remote, full-time role involves on-site and remote technical and logistical support to customers, with significant regional travel to ensure pilots stay flying and feedback reaches Product and Engineering. You’ll troubleshoot flight and network issues, provide mitigation recommendations, and collaborate with product teams to improve offerings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of civilian or military UAS operations and flight experience.
• Experience in military or civilian operational, technical, or customer-facing success or field support roles.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including after-hours and weekends on rotation or as-needed basis.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in onsite real-time technical troubleshooting and triage/escalation workflows.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and grow with Skydio in a rapidly evolving UAS remote operations landscape.
• Experience with CRMs, Salesforce and Jira is a plus.
• Strong knowledge supporting/troubleshooting IoT or enterprise apps using streaming and packet networks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the product specialist liaison between Skydio and customers by proactively answering advanced technical support questions.
• Serve as a technical knowledge resource to training and content teams to improve customer self-help.
• Collaborate with Product and Cloud Operations to become an expert on Skydio products, processes, and roadmap.
• Develop field support processes to define and accelerate escalation and debugging workflows.
• Reduce technical escalations by developing effective triage and resolution techniques.
• Provide on-site training to customers on maintenance and operation of Skydio aircraft and docks.
• Engage with internal support leaders and cross-functional teams to improve customer experience.
• Troubleshoot UAS C2 and Cloud networking issues using knowledge of Internet protocols, cellular modems, and wireless radios.
