Job summary

ntop is hiring a Field Solutions Engineer with a strong background in aircraft conceptual or preliminary design. You will embed with strategic customers to build nTop workflows, automation, and PoCs, connecting nTop to AI-embedded workflows and partner toolchains.

This role is remote and reports to the Senior Manager, Field Solutions Engineering. Expect frequent travel across the US to customer locations for design sprints and on-site collaboration with aerospace and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Computational Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience; highly relevant PhD may substitute for 3 years.
• Experience with aerospace design toolchains: CAD/FEA/CFD/MDO/PLM.
• Proficient in Python scripting and integrations.
• Familiarity with Python scientific stack, ML/LLM APIs, or tool-calling frameworks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical components within strategic customer engagements and surface risks early.
• Deliver defined outcomes with clear success criteria and collaborate across teams.
• Provide pre-sale support through discovery, demos, and PoC development.
• Conduct post-sale workflow consultations to expand usage and value.
