Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, is seeking a Field Service Specialist II to commission, troubleshoot, and optimize control systems for refrigeration and HVAC applications. The role requires extensive overnight travel and on-site support for stores and remodels.

You will analyze prints and schematics, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and ensure safety compliance. A strong background in refrigeration, building automation, and communication protocols is essential;

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years field experience in refrigeration or commissioning.
• Advanced understanding of refrigeration cycle operation.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and HVAC control logic.
• Willingness to travel up to 85–90%.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Commission and verify control systems for refrigeration and HVAC applications (E2, E3, Site Supervisors, etc.).
• Troubleshoot system issues on-site and remotely, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop and modify controller programs from I/O legends or existing sequences.
• Execute new store commissioning and remodel commissioning projects with accurate documentation.
• Provide site-level customer support and training for contractors and end users.
• Review and interpret store prints, electrical schematics, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technical Support on project execution.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of third-party control systems and network integrations.
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
