Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect and service company products at customer sites with extensive travel (75%+). The role supports customers nationwide, including assignments in the Jackson, MS area, and requires strong electrical/mechanical skills with PLC familiarity.

You will work under the Field Service Manager, traveling to sites, conducting testing and commissioning, and providing on-site training and customer support while ensuring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; willingness to travel up to 75% and beyond.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving; ability to read manuals and diagrams.
• Experience with switchgear and power generation equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service company equipment at customer sites per specifications.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments per engineering directives.
• Travel 75% of the time to customer sites, often out of state, including the Jackson, MS area.
• Provide support to customers by phone, email, or in person.
• Maintain documentation and expense reports for projects.
