Job summary

PSI Engineering is seeking a Field Service Technician in the United States to install, commission, maintain, and support PSI equipment and automation systems at customer sites. Travel to client locations is required, providing hands-on problem solving and direct customer interaction to ensure performance and reliability.

You will train operators and maintenance staff, work with engineers on installations, and manage on-site tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Technician in machinery servicing.
• Experience developing hardware control software is a plus.
• Technical certificate or degree in a relevant field is required.
• Mechanical and electrical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot printer & automation equipment at customer sites.
• Train customer operators and maintenance staff on operation and upkeep.
• Diagnose errors and determine proper solutions.
• Serve as a resource for third-party service providers in resolving complex problems.
• Provide support to customers during field/service visits.
• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Maintain and respond to inquiries through email and Live Chat/website.
• Respond to customer calls and provide technical service.
