Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Field Service Technician in Wisconsin to install, inspect, and service company equipment at customer sites. The role requires frequent travel (minimum 75%) to client locations, often out of state, with duties including testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning systems.

You will work with switchgear, diesel and natural gas fuel systems, load banks, and PLCs, supported by engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and warranty activation where

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong field service background with problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in switchgear, fuel systems, load banks and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service company equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment per engineering directives.
• Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person.
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering on product issues.
• Conduct training and service programs for customer staff.
• Complete daily reports and project documentation.
• Verify equipment erection acceptance to activate warranties.
• Maintain technical competence with ongoing training.
