Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a Service Technician to service customers remotely around Houston, Texas. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, drains, controllers, and related equipment.

You will install and pipe compressor systems and participate in training at the Air Academy with senior technicians. You will travel as needed within the territory, contribute to safety practices, complete service documentation, and communicate options to

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical fields.
• Independent worker capable of meeting deadlines.
• Customer-focused with ownership of customer needs.
• Proficient with computers to complete work orders and order parts.
• Must supply basic required tools.
• Occasional travel to Rock Hill, SC for paid training.
• Residence within 30 minutes to 1 hour of assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Show willingness to learn about VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer’s equipment pad.
