Job summary

Gatik is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and hardware/software integration across our autonomous vehicle fleet. You will work on traditional OEM platforms and Gatik's autonomous stack, ensuring high fleet uptime and safety.

This remote role requires travel to sites across North America to support operations and install improvements, with reporting to the Field Service Team Manager and delivering detailed service records and engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on field service or AV/robotics repair.
• Full-stack troubleshooting across OEM platforms and autonomous stacks.
• Experience with engineering-level tooling and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of safety, LOTO, OSHA/DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and maintenance on OEM vehicle platforms and autonomous software/hardware stacks.
• Execute rapid root-cause repairs, sensor calibrations, and vehicle upfits.
• Manage Technical Service Bulletins, recall campaigns, and hardware/software retrofits.
• Write detailed service records and diagnostic write-ups.
• Maintain safety, 6S and compliance with SMS/LOTO and OSHA/DOT standards.
