Job summary

Miller Resource Group seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to deliver hands-on service and training for automated packaging equipment. This remote-based role travels to customer sites within roughly one hour of a major airport and reports to the Field Service Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of field service experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs/HMIs
• Fanuc robot experience desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist customer personnel in installation, start-up, and training of machines and systems
• Provide technical service support when equipment is not performing properly
• Provide updates to Engineering on changes made in the field
• Participate in final equipment checkout prior to shipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in the field
• Work with PLC and HMI programs and edits as needed
• Support setup and operation of packaging automation equipment
• Represent the organization professionally with customers
