Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Field Service Automation Technician to support automated machinery and robotics, both remotely and on customer sites in the Shelby Township area. The role emphasizes installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

You will travel extensively (75–100%) with lodging/travel covered, and you will receive a car allowance and mileage reimbursement. A strong background in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support on automated assembly systems.
• Travel to client sites for commissioning, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prepare labor/material cost estimates and field service reports.
• Train end-users and distributors on automation concepts.
