Job summary

Premier Tech in Montgomery, Alabama is looking for a Field Service Technician to optimize industrial automation and packaging equipment. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and upgrading equipment, as well as providing customer training and support.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a field service technician with electromechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic schematics.
• Valid US passport and up-to-date state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage uptime by proactively identifying and addressing customer challenges.
• Advise and train customers on the equipment.
• Promote health and safety to mitigate risks and safety issues.

Skills

Mechatronic and electro-mechanical

Robotics – FANUC or similar preferred

PLC troubleshooting experience

Great communication and training skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Education

Associate degree with emphasis in mechanical, electrical or automation

Tools

High and low voltage electrical equipment
