Job summary

CV Technology is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers nationwide on a remote basis with significant travel (about 60%), including opportunities for international travel. You will be responsible for startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CV Technology-protected systems, while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Prior experience is beneficial but not required. Join a global leader in fire and explosion protection system design.

Qualifications

• 60% travel to customer locations across North America.
• Instrumentation and controls experience preferred.
• Field service or mechanical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring preferred.
• 1-2 years travel-heavy role experience preferred.
• Excellent customer relations and strong communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; expenses and travel bookings.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of CV Technology explosion mitigation systems.
• Verify the functionality of the CV Technology protection system.
• Providing familiarization training for plant personnel.
• Provide outstanding service to our clients.
• Emergency services in the event of system activation.
• Completion of written reports for site visits; commissioning, maintenance, or emergency service.
• Submitting personal expenses and booking travel accommodations.
• Quote spare parts and/or services.
