Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician – Power Generation to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up, and repair on diesel and gaseous power generation equipment at customer sites. This full-time role is based from home in the US, with heavy travel requirements and relocation assistance if applicable. You will document performance data and support root-cause analysis while prioritizing safety and quality.

Formación

• 2 years of mechanical or technical trade school plus 3 years of field service with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of field service experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel and gaseous power generation equipment, including engines, generator sets, and related systems.
• Commission, start up, operate, and test generator set systems and document performance data.
• Travel up to 60-80% to customer sites, including potential international travel and short-notice assignments.
• Inspect equipment, document findings, maintain service records, and support root cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Provide technical support and promote safe equipment operation at customer sites.
