Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Field Service Safety Expert for a fully remote role in the United States, with up to 75% travel to customer sites. You will support EHS programs for field service operations, lead safety coaching, and strengthen the safety culture across projects involving electrical distribution systems and industrial equipment.

You will conduct jobsite visits, verify controls and energy protection, and participate in incident investigations, driving continuous improvement and safe work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction, industrial, or electrical field safety.
• OSHA regulations and electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E.
• Electrical power distribution systems or industrial electrical equipment.
• Hazard recognition, jobsite inspections, and field-based safety coaching.
• Incident investigation, documentation, and corrective action follow‑up.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% to customer job sites.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on safety oversight and field support for Siemens field teams and subcontractors.
• Conduct scheduled and unannounced jobsite visits to identify hazards and verify controls.
• Support installation, commissioning, inspection, and service activities involving distribution equipment.
• Verify hazardous energy control, including lockout/tagout and Live–Dead–Live testing.
• Monitor energized work and high‑risk activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in incident, near‑miss, and safety investigations with root cause analysis.
• Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and safety culture.
