Job summary

Electronics For Imaging, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer for the Textile Inkjet Business Unit in the United States. This remote role requires up to 100% travel to customer sites for on-site installation and support of EFI industrial inkjet printers.

You will handle pre-installation coordination, unpacking components, and positioning within the customer's facility, with emphasis on end-to-end technical support and training.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in digital printing, electronics, or related technologies.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a field service engineering role supporting digital printing equipment or electronic devices.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing technology in water base ink.
• Knowledge in RIP and how to generate new profiles and assisting customer requests.
• Knowledge of color theory and materials/chemicals.
• Knowledge of textile process for textile digital machine and sublimation digital machine.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a large service territory including EFI assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end on-site technical support to customers across the assigned territory.
• Travel extensively within the local market and beyond, including international travel.
• Assist with printer setup, calibration, demonstrations, and teardown at trade shows.
• Conduct end-user training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collect and communicate customer feedback to EFI R&D team.
