Job summary

Rapiscan Systems is looking for a Field Service Engineer 2 to work remotely from Arkansas. In this role, you'll provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction by acquiring in-depth knowledge of Rapiscan's security and inspection systems.

You will be responsible for generating reports, assisting with technical issues, and participating in training programs. The position requires an associates degree in a technical field and three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical related field with strong emphasis in networks, software, science and/or engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in service, applications, technical support, or electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams, and schematics required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire complete understanding of Rapiscan hardware and software to assist customers.
• Generate reports of on-site interactions.
• Support technical issues at customer sites.
• Maintain statistics of customer questions for issue identification.
• Participate in training programs and improvement efforts.
• Conduct equipment/system acceptance testing.
• Document all service-related activities professionally.
