Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in New Jersey leads field service engineering opportunities across the Northeast and beyond. As a Field Service Engineer you will service, repair, test and calibrate high-end SP Scientific Equipment at customer sites with high autonomy.

You will travel 2-3 weeks per month, read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot refrigeration and mechanical systems, and coordinates with customers to ensure installation compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with refrigeration systems and read/interpreting schematics.
• Ability to install complex capital equipment and assemble large mechanical systems.
• Independent troubleshooting of mechanical and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, repair, testing and calibration of SP equipment.
• Field installation supervision and testing of equipment.
• Provide customer tech support via phone, online or on-site.
• Maintain broad equipment knowledge and work with subcontractors as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and troubleshoot autonomously.
