Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Electrification Automation (EA) Business Unit. This remote role, based in Little Rock, AR area, involves installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of LV/MV equipment with up to 80% travel nationwide.

The role requires 4+ years related equipment experience, strong power distribution knowledge, and IT proficiency. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred; OSHA/NFPA certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• High School or GED minimum; other relevant skills and experience required
• 4+ years of directly related equipment experience
• Knowledge of power distribution systems
• Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear
• Experience with testing of breakers or high voltage equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical control circuits
• Available for emergency and relief assignments
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiar with OSHA safety practices and work within guidelines
• Remote within Arkansas to support EA business partners

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and start up LV and MV equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits
• Travel up to 80% nationally depending on site locations
• Support Greenfield and Brownfield installations and commissioning activities
• May be called to assist in multiple Siemens USA projects
• Role may be hired at a lower level than posted based on experience
