Abbott Medical is seeking a Capital Equipment Service Engineer to install, upgrade, repair and perform preventive maintenance on capital equipment within Abbott Medical's product portfolio. You will work with dispatch teams and clinical staff to maximize service quality, travel extensively, and ensure compliance with QA and regulatory policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in electronics, engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years medical electronics service or related field service.
• English is a must; any additional European languages is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Hardware/software field support: system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair.
• Coordinate with central dispatch and local staff for scheduling field interventions.
• Document field service interventions per QA system requirements.
• Report capital equipment incidents per QA system requirements.
• Provide system maintenance and troubleshooting training to customer biomedical engineering departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff.
• Extensive international travel required based on ad-hoc request, sometimes with short notice.
