Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices and lab equipment at customer sites within a defined territory. You will work independently, focusing on minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, service reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to provide quotes and solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidate has experience servicing medical devices or laboratory equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on medical and laboratory equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate service visits and communicate scheduling, arrival times, and job status updates with customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts and service tools required to support field activities.
• Ensure all service work is completed in compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for additional service, maintenance, and equipment support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide repair quotes and customer solutions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and team meetings.
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle.
