Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install products at customer sites, with travel up to 45-55% covering the Philadelphia area and surrounding regions. The role is remote-to-cover the Philadelphia area, with travel and a salary of $65,000–$70,000 plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation, customer communication, and generating service leads to expand service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years' experience in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, OR relevant degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other STEM field.
• Equivalent military training
• Associate's degree with 2+ years' experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Life Sciences / Med Device / Biotech industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical: Meet daily service repair needs through basic troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance and repair of designated equipment, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Customer Service: Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up; use documented processes and root cause analysis to resolve issues and drive satisfaction.
• Lead Generation: Drive service business growth via sales actions for service agreements, parts, upgrades, and equipment leads.
