Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to maintain, audit, configure, program, install, upgrade, and migrate Honeywell control systems including EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC3000. You will validate customer requests, build relationships, and plan and execute upgrades and migrations while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, this role is remote from Charlotte, NC or TN or VA regions with up to 80% travel and up to two weeks away from home.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in related field (field service, technical ops, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military, reliability engineering)
• Willingness to travel up to 80% – up to 2 weeks away from home at a time
• Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months

Responsibilities

• Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues
• Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues and enquiries
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware/software issues including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN and TPS
• Upgrade Experion software from one release to another on live control systems without interrupting industrial processes
• Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell's new technology offerings
• Understand customer processes to translate into business opportunities and provide timely research and recommendations
• Assist Sales during pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users
• Learn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery
• Use technical expertise to improve customer experience
