Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Drives and Automation to perform installation, commissioning, and servicing of GE Drives and control systems. You will troubleshoot at customer sites, develop procedures, and lead on-site project tasks to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires travel up to 85%, offshore/on-site work environments, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 3+ years in field service are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of field service and/or commissioning experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting at customer sites to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Develop commissioning and maintenance procedures and logs.
• Install and commission GE Drives at customer sites.
• Lead on-site project management and technical leadership to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide training to customers on drive operations and coordinate with service teams.
• Identify upgrades and service opportunities to improve reliability and sales.
