Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Drives to perform commissioning and service tasks at customer sites. You’ll support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of GE LV/MV drive systems, and you’ll provide technical leadership on projects and training to customers.

Role requires strong communication, documentation, and hands-on installation skills, with extensive travel (up to 85%) and offshore/shipboard work as needed. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years field service/commissioning experience.
• Ability to travel up to 85% and work offshore or on ships as needed.
• Experience with GE Drive systems and LV/MV drives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot at customer sites to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Create commissioning procedures and daily maintenance logs.
• Install and commission GE Drives at customer sites.
• Lead on-site project activities and coordinate with teams.
• Provide training to customers on drive operations.
• Prepare service reports and support business growth.
