GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Drives to perform commissioning, installation, and on-site service for GE drive systems.

You will diagnose issues, provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, and coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction across the United States. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 years in field service/commissioning, with ability to travel up to 85% and work in challenging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years field service/commissioning experience.
• Willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice.
• Work on-board vessels or offshore and in construction-type settings.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot at customer sites to diagnose problems and implement resolutions.
• Create commissioning and maintenance procedures, daily logs, and related docs.
• Install and commission GE Drives at customer sites and ensure proper operation.
• Lead on-site project management and technical tasks to resolve issues and satisfy customers.
• Provide training and presentations to customers on drive operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with service teams, parts, sales, and product engineering for service opportunities.
• Advise customers on upgrades, parts, and service to improve productivity.
