Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support diagnostics equipment across southeast Texas from Houston. You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and service instruments, with remote work options and travel as needed.

The role emphasizes customer collaboration and on-site support to ensure optimal performance. You will maintain logs, train staff, and communicate with customers while following Beckman Coulter’s standards for quality and service

Qualifications

• Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience or High School diploma with 3 years of experience.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, modify, and service Beckman Coulter equipment including training customers and providing efficient service.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts and meet cycle times using systems like OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint.
• Communicate with internal and external customers at various levels; assist with training newer Field Service Engineers.
