Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair, and install biomedical equipment at customer sites within the Chicago area. The role is remote, covering the Chicago region, with travel about 35% and opportunities to drive service excellence.

You’ll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate parts. A bachelor's (or associate with experience) in STEM is required, plus a valid driver’s license and strong customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or another STEM field; or an Associate's degree with at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lb and hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35% including overnight stays.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and use root cause analysis to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Drive service business growth by pursuing sales actions for service agreements, parts, upgrades, and equipment leads.
