Job summary

HBK is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to cover Northern California from a remote/home-based setup in Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area. The role blends technical knowledge with sales to drive HBK’s sensor, data acquisition hardware and software solutions across aerospace, defense, automotive and more.

The candidate should have 5+ years of sales experience in test and measurement, a technical degree (ME/EE preferred), strong presentation skills, and the ability to demo hardware and software.

Qualifications

ME or EE degree or technical science preferred.
5+ years of sales experience in test/measurement or related fields.
Experience with acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, sensors.
Ability to perform hardware and software demonstrations.
Experience selling to engineers and upper management.

Responsibilities

Provide full sales coverage for Northern California.
Close business and develop opportunities in the territory.
Plan and execute customer visits and presentations.
Represent HBK at regional trade shows and conferences.
Log sales activities and opportunities in CRM.
Collaborate with inside sales and product marketing.
