Job summary

Samtec, Inc. seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to develop design-wins by pairing customers' technical needs with Samtec's capabilities. The role is remote in the Seattle market and focuses on servicing customers to exceed sales objectives.

The candidate should have 5+ years of OEM sales in technical industries, with strong relationship skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry.
Component sales experience in a technical industry.
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and stay engaged in field work.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative design-wins by aligning customer needs with Samtec's product design and development.
Service the customer by any and all means necessary.
Territory sales with technical design in cycle and build strong customer relationships.
Call on technology/micro-electronic and manufacturing customers at various levels.
Maintain strong organizational systems and appointment setting practices.
Exceed sales objectives within the territory.
