Job summary

Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for remote Northern California with up to 60% travel. You’ll build technical expertise on DEWALT fastening products, establish relationships with engineering firms, and influence specifications through visits, trainings, and presentations.

A valid license and 2+ years in design/technical roles are required. The position includes company vehicle, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in design engineering, technical support, or technical sales.
• EIT/FE certified; P.E. license preferred.
• Construction industry/jobsite experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical understanding of DEWALT fastening products and building code compliance.
• Establish relationships with specifying engineering firms in the territory.
• Influence designers, architects, and engineers to specify fasteners via visits and trainings.
• Deliver technical presentations on product performance, details, and code requirements.
• Provide on-site technical support and assist with proprietary anchor design software.
• Support local sales from a technical perspective; assist with submittals.
• Maintain CRM records and stay current with industry technologies and BIM trends.
