Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technical Development Rep to lead precommercial field research on Loveland Products and to support the LPI sales organization with technical insights.

The role involves designing experiments, collaborating with researchers, analyzing data, and translating findings into marketing content for growers. Candidates should have an MS or PhD and be willing to travel up to 50% and work from a home office within the Northern Plains region.

Qualifications

• MS degree in agronomy, soil science, crop science, horticulture, plant pathology, entomology, weed science or related discipline.
• Experience designing, conducting, evaluating and analyzing agricultural field research.
• Strong data management and communication skills; ability to translate technical info for sales enablement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership with a primary focus on LPI innovation and collaborate with marketing portfolio managers.
• Lead precommercial protocol development and experimental design aligned with LPI objectives.
• Establish and maintain an applied field research program with contract researchers and universities.
• Validate, analyze, and summarize field research data with applied statistical analysis.
• Convert data into marketing content, characterizing placement, positioning, performance and value of new products.
