Job summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Reimbursement and Patient services for a designated drug, including benefit investigation, prior authorizations, claims assistance, and appeals. This client-facing role builds relationships with physician offices and manufacturer reps, travels regularly, and educates on payer landscapes.

You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with internal hub support, and ensure timely reimbursement

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Commercial insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and available services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and patient coverage options.
• Handle case management, billing/coding updates, claims submission, and appeals support in collaboration with the case manager.
• Set up appointments, outbound calls to targeted offices, and coordinate with physicians and manufacturer reps.
• Monitor program performance via CRM dashboards and quarterly client reports.
• Compile provider/manufacturer information for reimbursement databases and maintain FRM CRM data.
