Amgen is hiring a Field Reimbursement Manager in Washington, D.C. The role covers Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, focusing on patient access and reimbursement strategies for Amgen products.

You will serve as a payer expert, educate providers, and coordinate with HUB and finance teams to resolve coverage issues. The position requires a Doctorate or equivalent, with strong experience in health care reimbursement, payer policies, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s + leadership experience or Bachelor’s + extensive leadership and customer service background.
• Minimum two years in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with hubs; knowledge of billing, coding and appeals; reimbursement processes.

Responsabilités

• Act as an extension of HUB, providing live one-on-one coverage support.
• Manage reimbursement journey from payer prior authorization to appeals/denials.
• Educate HCPs on payer coverage and changes that impact patient access.
• Collaborate with HUB and other departments to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Travel up to 40% and maintain valid driver's license.
