Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property to cover the Philadelphia, PA area. This remote position involves day travel to policy locations in a company vehicle, with occasional overnight trips and CAT readiness for catastrophic events.

You will investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims by phone and on-site, delivering exceptional service. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property claims experience, strong knowledge of Xactimate, and a construction

Qualifications

• Three to five years of property claims experience.
• Proficient with Xactimate and claims handling.
• Construction background in residential, roofing, remodeling, water mitigation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned claims promptly with minimal direction.
• Determine coverages and apply claims practices per guidelines.
• Open, close and adjust reserves to ensure adequacy.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance and local repair procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer service to Nationwide customers.
