Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience preferred in retail or service.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site investigations by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage.
• Use claims software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates.
• Evaluate subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to state and industry agencies.
• Negotiate with policyholders to settle claims.
• Travel to policyholder homes and work independently.
